From the Chairman

Dear Friend of the DCTC Foundation,

It is my honor to serve as president of the DCTC Foundation Board of Directors. The Foundation exists to provide assistance to students who might otherwise not be able to attend Dakota County Technical College. As you may know, more than 400 students each year receive financial support from the Foundation to handle the burden of tuition, books, transportation, and unanticipated expenses.

In addition to giving financial assistance to students, the Foundation continues to build general and private endowment funds. Numerous in-kind donations for equipment, tools, and supplies are received by the Foundation and used in many of the college’s programs.

Few may know that more than 80 percent of DCTC students receive some kind of financial aid. This makes the Foundation’s work even more critical, as we strive to provide a quality education for everyone, regardless of socioeconomic background.

On behalf of the entire DCTC Foundation Board of Directors, and the students we serve, thank you for your interest and support in the DCTC Foundation.
