Tech schools set to expand vastly

ROSEMOUNT, Minn. -- Twin Cities technical schools are renovating their programs and buildings to help accommodate for their growing success.
The Dakota County Technical College released plans to help advance programs and branch out into other communities. The college plans to expand campuses throughout the metro area. Million dollar projects hope to keep these colleges on the cutting edge.
The school plans to add several components to better their programs. More technological services will be available to help increase the number of engineering students. Better sports programs and more on line courses will be added due to estimates that online classes will increase by 40 percent by 2009.
