Betty Krueger is an Information Systems Technology instructor and has been teaching at DCTC since 1995.
She graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in French. Betty went on to earn a Master of Education degree from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn.
Betty's industry experience includes 14 years as a software engineer for a major defense contractor. Her areas of expertise are in Software Development and Database Development.
One of her biggest accomplishments at DCTC was taking on the Co-Principle Investigator role on the National Science Foundation funded Scholarships in Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics (S-STEM) program.
Betty enjoys the flexible work schedule at DCTC, but the best part of her job as a DCTC instructor is her “ability to teach students skills that will be directly relevant to their career choices.
Betty's hobbies include golfing, gourmet food and wine, and perennial gardening.
