Jaime Pieper is a dental assistant instructor. She began teaching at DCTC in 1994.
 
Jaime has a master's degree in education from Walden University. She has a bachelor's degree in communications and human resource development from Metropolitan State University. She also has an A.S. degree in dental hygiene from Normandale Community College and a certificate in dental assisting from Northwest Technical College.

During the summer months, she serves as a practicing dental hygienist.

In 2002, she was honored as DCTC Outstanding Faculty member.

Regarding her educational philosophy, she states, "As a teacher, I hope to motivate students toward a level where they develop a desire to learn and think for themselves."

Jaime strives to provide a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to realize their full potential. She believes that her students are most successful when they feel valued as individuals.

"I look forward to coming to work each day," she says. "I enjoy the students, and we have a great faculty and staff."

Her hobbies and interests include reading, boating, fishing, snowmobiling, and relaxing at her family cabin in northern Minnesota.
