Saundra W. Bacon is a General Education psychology instructor. She began teaching at DCTC in 2000.
Saundra has a master's degree in counseling and education from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She also has a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Utah. On May 22, 2009, she finished her Doctor of Psychology degree at the University of St. Thomas.
She counseled, advised, and taught students at the college level for several years. She has also worked with children, adolescents, and families in community, educational, and clinical settings.
Her areas of expertise include learning issues, stress reduction and relaxation, and family matters.
In 1990, she earned cum laude honors as a psychology major at the University of Utah.
Saundra's interests include outdoor recreation, walking, running, yoga, reading, music, and spending time with her family and friends.
