Todd Jagerson is a microcomputer maintenance instructor. He has a Masters of Management from St. Mary's University, a bachelor's degree in information technology from Capella University, and an associate in applied science degree in computer networking from DCTC.
He started at DCTC as a work-study student and worked as a consultant at the IT Help Desk. Today, Todd is the college's chief information officer. He oversees all aspects of information technology utilized by DCTC staff, faculty, and students. He makes sure that everyone is up to speed with technology in a system where hardware and software are constantly evolving.
"School is a job," says Todd, regarding his teaching philosophy. "Treat your education as if it is your job. Attendance, effort, assignments, interpersonal behavior are the same for a student or an employee."
Giving back to his students and the college is the best part about his job as a DCTC instructor.
