Description
BUSN 1040 Organizational behavior (OB) is an interdisciplinary field drawing from numerous
disciplines including psychology, sociology, anthropology, economics, and organization theory. Students will review, discuss and analyze critical factors that make an organization of any size and purpose perform effectively.
Apply psychological principles to communications, organizational planning and
personnel management. Examine how systems and values shape an organization's culture. Discuss how individuals work inside an organization and influence those around them in teams and department settings. Understand the importance of system thinking and change management.
