Why Digital Publishing at DCTC?

The Digital Publishing program at DCTC prepares you to enter the precision world of the print industry. You will acquire the computer software skills you need to format typescript and graphic elements to produce materials ready for print publication. As a desktop publisher or prepress production specialist, you will collaborate with graphic designers, editors and writers on a huge variety of print projects. Digital Publishing is one of the rare college progams that gives you the dual knowledge of the prepress operator and graphic artist.

The DCTC Visual Communications department has the resources and connections to not only get you up to speed in the latest and greatest print publishing software and best practices, but our instructors will also help you land a job in the print industry.
