AUTM 2125 This course includes general engine diagnosis, cylinder head diagnosis and repair, valve train diagnosis and repair, engine block diagnosis and repair. The class stresses how engines work and how to repair them. Prerequisites: AUTM2100

AUTM - 2215: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle Theory and Operation
AUTM 2215 This course includes basic theory of torque converters, planetary gears, clutches, bands, and hydraulics. The class stresses how automatic transmissions and transaxles work and how to repair them.
AUTM 2225 This course includes: advanced automatic transmission and engine diagnostic procedures. Advanced repair of automatic transmissions and engines. Prerequisite: Successful completion of AUTM2100 Basic Automotive Electricity, AUTM2125 Engine Theory and Operation, AUTM2215 Automatic transmission/Transaxle Theory with a minimum overall score of 70% OR concurrent enrollment in course 2960 Skill Development with instructor approval.
