Payment Plan Outline - Summer Session 2014

  • Tuition Due Date | May 9, 2014
    For students without approved deferment such as a financial aid application or agency funding— a payment plan must be in place through Nelnet/FACTS e-cashier in order to avoid the risk of getting dropped from your courses.
  • Payment Plan Due Dates
    • May 1, 2014 | no down payment required
    • May 9, 2014 | 15% or $300
    • May 20, 2014 | 33% of remaining balance due
    • June 19, 2014 | 50% of remaining balance due
    • View flyer for sign up periods and required down payments.
  • A $50 late fee will be charged to all accounts not paid in full by June 19, 2014.
  • You will NOT be able to register online for the next semester until the balance is paid in full or have a current payment plan.

  • Tuition Due Date | December 19, 2014
    For students without approved deferment such as a financial aid application or agency funding— a payment plan must be in place through Nelnet/FACTS e-cashier in order to avoid the risk of getting dropped from your courses.
  • Payment Plan Due Dates
    • December 2, 2014 | no down payment required
    • December 19, 2014 | 15% or $300
    • February 18, 2015 | 33% of remaining balance due
    • March 23, 2015 | 50% of remaining balance due

  • A $50 late fee will be charged to all accounts not paid in full by March 23, 2015.
  • You will NOT be able to register online for the next semester until the balance is paid in full or have a current payment plan.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

  • Your valid FAFSA results must be on record with the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid by a certain date.
  • To avoid assessment of a $30 payment plan fee, you must complete your financial aid record and apply for any student loans needed to pay your balance by the following dates:
    • Fall Semester 2014 — TBD

Approved Third-Party Vendor Authorization

  • Approved third-party vendor authorization must be on file with the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid by a certain date. The college will bill the approving agency for authorized tuition and fees.

  • To avoid assessment of a $30 payment plan fee, you must pay any remaining balance by the tuition due date.

Scholarship Funds

  • Regarding scholarship funds of $300 or more paid to the student's DCTC account, you can avoid assessment of a $30 payment plan fee by paying any balance not covered by the scholarship by the following dates:
    • Summer Session 2014 — TBD

Veteran's Benefits

  • Veterans with questions regarding their VA benefits should contact Kerry Lurken, Financial Aid Specialist, at kerry.lurken@dctc.edu or 651-423-8278.

International Students

  • International students coded with an F1 Visa must pay 100 percent of health insurance costs at the time of registration OR by the tuition due date.
  • International students must have a social security number on record with DCTC to be eligible for the payment plan deferment option.
  • To avoid assessment of a $30 payment plan fee, you must pay any remaining balance by the tuition due date.

Post-Secondary Education Options (PSEO)

  • PSEO students must have completed PSEO documentation and have approved PSEO status on record with DCTC.
