Late start courses

Courses starting after the first 5 days of the semester have one business day after the first class session to drop without obligation.

Additional notes of importance:

  • Non-attendance of a course is not considered a drop. You are required to officially drop courses you are not planning on attending. You are financially responsible for the courses in which you enroll.
  • Up to the end of the fifth day of the semester students may drop courses by using e-services or filling out a form available in the Student Services Office. No phone calls are accepted.
  • After the fifth day of the semester, a grade of "W", for withdrawal, will be recorded on your permanent transcript; it will affect your completion rate but will not affect your GPA. You must fill out a Withdrawal form from the Student Services Office. Withdrawals are not available in e- services. No phone calls are accepted.
  • If you are receiving financial aid and make changes to your credit load, you should contact the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid to determine if the change will affect your aid status.
