Dear Friend of the DCTC Foundation:

I am honored to serve as president of the DCTC Foundation board of directors. The Foundation exists to provide assistance to students who might otherwise not be able to attend Dakota County Technical College.

As you may know, more than 400 students each year receive financial support from the Foundation to cover the cost of tuition, books, transportation and unanticipated expenses.

As well as giving financial assistance to students, the Foundation builds general and private endowment funds. Numerous in-kind donations for equipment, tools and supplies are received by the Foundation and used in many of the college's programs.

Few may know that more than 94 percent of DCTC students receive some kind of financial aid. This makes the Foundation's work even more critical as we strive to provide a quality education for everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic background.

On behalf of the entire DCTC Foundation board of directors and the students we serve, thank you for supporting the DCTC Foundation.
