Instructor Bios
Geisler, Paul
Paul Geisler is a concrete and masonry instructor. He has been teaching in the program since it began in 2002. He was actively involved in the program's startup and development.
Paul received his bricklaying training at Milwaukee Area Technical College in Milwaukee, Wis. He became a member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Craftworkers and completed an apprenticeship over a three-year period.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, he has worked in a range of areas, from commercial high-rise construction to small residential additions.
The Concrete and Masonry program was awarded a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for the outstanding and invaluable service the students and faculty give to the community.
Regarding his teaching philosophy, Paul says, "I try to expose my students to as many real-life situations as possible so that they are ready for the workforce when the time arrives."
The best part of his job as a DCTC instructor is interacting with his students. He looks forward to helping them grow and mold themselves into confident workers.
His hobbies and interests include waterskiing, snow skiing, tennis, biking and vacationing.
