Faculty Bios
Rollag, Jerry
Jerry Rollag is a welding instructor. He started teaching at DCTC in 2001.
With 18 years of experience in the welding industry, Jerry is an acknowledged expert specializing in heavy metals and precision sheet metal.
His many accomplishments include welding titanium parts on the B-2 Spirit stealth heavy bomber and working on the Apollo Space Program for NASA.
Regarding his teaching philosophy, Jerry strives to "make our program as parallel as possible with the welding industry." He works to create a "seamless entry into the workplace" for his students.
His interests include hunting pheasant, duck, and deer, walleye fishing, golf, and operating radio-controlled nitro trucks. He also runs a hobby farm, raising plants, shrubs, and trees.
