This course focuses on the administration tasks necessary to maintain a Windows Server 2012 infrastructure such as configuring and troubleshooting name resolution, user and group management with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and Group Policy, implementing Remote Access solutions such as DirectAccess, VPNs and Web Application Proxy, implementing Network Policies and Network Access Protection, Data Security, deployment and maintenance of server images, as well as update management and monitoring of Windows Server 2012 environments. This course prepares the learner for exam 70-411.
Windows Server 2008 Administrator 70-646
This course takes a practical approach to administering Windows Server 2008 infrastructures. The Windows Server 2008 Administrator course maps to the Microsoft MCITP 70-646 certification exam. Learners will master such skills as managing server operating systems, file, and directory services, software distribution and updates, profiling and monitoring assigned servers, and troubleshooting. Extensive hands-on and lab exercises create a learning experience that prepares IT professionals to manage and administer Windows Server 2008 environments. The skills mastered are then able to be applied with successful completion of Microsoft’s 70-646 certification exam.
