What is Financial Aid?

Financial aid supplemental funding to help students pay educational expenses. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required for all federal and state financial aid awarded at DCTC.

Using strict formulas mandated by Congress, the FAFSA provides a standardized method of determining a student's eligibility for financial assistance. The amount of financial aid awarded is the difference between what the federal government expects you and your family to contribute and the estimated cost of attending DCTC.
