NRC Scholarships
Nuclear Technician/Nuclear Regulatory Commission Scholarship
The Dakota County Technical College Nuclear Technician Scholarship Project is funded by The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
The criteria to be eligible for the scholarship are:
- 2.75 cumulative high school GPA, or cumulative GPA from past college experience, or
- Accuplacer scores equal or greater than:
78 - Reading Comprehension
76 - Basic Algebra
50 - College Math
- Accuplacer scores equal or greater than:
- Remain matriculated in the degree program for the field of study for which the scholarship was approved.
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress in recipient's field of study
- Maintain a course load of at least 12 credit hours per semester as a full-time student in good standing.
- Must be willing to agree to terms of scholarship as set out in the "2010 Trade School Scholarship Program Service Agreement".
Students not meeting the criteria #1 may be considered for the scholarship at the completion of the student's first semester.
