Computer Labs
Dakota County Technical College operates 12 personal computer and three Macintosh instructional computer labs. Numerous computers for special use are also available in a number of instructional labs and classrooms.
Instructional Technology Center (ITC)
An open computer lab, the ITC is available to students for general computer use and Internet access during regular college hours. Equipped with both PC and Mac computers, the ITC features software that is used in many of the college's instructional programs.
Thanks to a large-screen computer projector, faculty and staff can schedule time in the ITC for special presentations.
For students enrolled in flexible, self-paced courses, the ITC offers a flextime lab with computers outfitted with all relevant software. Qualified flexlab instructors are available to answer questions and offer procedural assistance during regular ITC hours.

Stocked with the usual array of resources and reference materials, the DCTC Library also features 15 computer stations—both PC and Mac—that are connected to the Internet and loaded with many popular software applications. Library computers are available for student use during regular library hours.
Other Computer Labs
Fifteen additional computer labs are used to deliver course instruction throughout the building. Typically equipped with Internet access and Microsoft applications, these labs are reserved by particular programs of instruction, but may be available when classes are not in session. Check with the appropriate instructor to gain access.
