Online Courses are designed for students who need flexibility. If you are looking for classes that are flexible in scheduling, and can be taken in a location convenient for you, then online courses are an option for you.
Online courses are administered through our normal on-campus channels, with the added advantage that the coursework is accomplished from a remote location using the Internet.
It is recommended that students taking online courses attend an orientation session at Dakota County Technical College or complete the online orientation tutorial. (see the links above) Orientation sessions will train you to sign-on for the online courses, familiarize you with the online course platform including how to communicate with your classmates and instructor, and how to complete assignments and exams.
