A Program with Three Goals:

TRIO/Student Support Services(SSS) is a program with 3 goals:

  • Help you do well in your classes
  • Help you re-enroll each semester and graduate on time
  • Help you transfer to a 4-year college and attain your Bachelor's degree

Student Eligibility

To be eligible for TRIO/SSS Program you must be one or more of the following:

  • Low-income student
  • First-generation college student (neither parent has a bachelor's degree)
  • Student with a documented disability

TRIO/SSS is an educational opportunity program funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

TRIO/SSS serves 150 students. This means that our students receive intensive one-on-one and small group services designed to meet the specific needs of program participants.

First Year Involvement

The First-Year Involvement (FYI) begins with the Summer Bridge Program, which takes place the summer before your first semester. It is designed to improve your reading, writing, math, and study skills. You will participate in other workshops designed to help you transition smoothly into college life.
