Scholarships
Dakota County Technical College (DCTC) and the Dakota County Technical College Foundation (DCTC Foundation) make more than $180,000 in scholarships available each year. These awards may be based on academic merit, service to the college, and financial need.
Scholarship funds are provided to first- and second-year students, recent high school graduates, and adult learners. Additional scholarships are made available to Dakota County Technical College students by outside organizations.

Concrete and Masonry Scholarship
Twenty scholarships will be awarded to students who enroll in the DCTC Concrete and Masonry program for Fall 2008. Applications must be submitted by April 15, 2008.Apply Now
Student Life Scholarship Criteria
- Demonstrated student leadership role through:
- Participation in campus activities.
- Community / civic activities.
- Outstanding academic achievement with a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale OR demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
Student Life Scholars are selected by the DCTC Scholarships Committee, based on recommendations from the Director of Student Life and DCTC Scholarship Applications submitted by students to the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. The Director of Scholarships and Financial Aid serves as the DCTC Scholarship Committee Chairman. All Student Life Scholarship funds are awarded and managed by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
