What We Are

The Leadership Academy is a course sponsored by the division of Student Life Programs for DCTC students interested in leadership development.

Our mission

To provide students an opportunity to further develop their leadership skills and enhance their potential to meet the challenges of a diverse and dynamic world.

  1. Is there a cost?
    - No, the Leadership Academy is free of charge to all DCTC students.
  2. When does the course begin?
    - Summer, usually the first week in August. The dates for the 2006-2007 school year will be announced at a later date.
  3. How long is this course?
    - This is an 18-hour workshop offered over three days, 6-hour sessions (9 am - 3 pm).
  4. How do I register for each seminar?
    - Stop by the Student Life Office, Room 1-404 or complete the registration form for the Leadership Academy in the Student Services Office.

  6. How will I be notified of the upcoming Leadership Academy?
    We will mail confirmation letters to all those who register. A copy of the agenda for the 3-day course will also be included.
