Ann has worked in college admissions since 1990 and most recently, was a high school guidance and college counselor at Minnehaha Academy in Minneapolis. Ann was a Senior Admissions Representative – Twin Cities Regional for Northern State University, an Assistant Director of Admissions: Coordinator of Twin Cities Freshman Recruitment for Minnesota State University Moorhead, Admissions Representative and Coordinator of International Student Admissions for Normandale Community College, and Admissions Representative for Minneapolis Community and Technical College. Ann was the Project Operations Coordinator of Hispanic Pre-College Project and the Senior Admissions Counselor, Coordinator of Multicultural Recruitment for the University of St. Thomas. She was enrolled at the University of Florida-Gainesville (On-line) for the Enrollment Management Program and has her Bachelor's degree in German and a minor in Computer Science-Quantitative Methods from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.
During her studies, she lived over in Germany for a summer and also studied Spanish and Greek. Ann transferred from University of Minnesota Duluth and Normandale Community prior to attending St. Thomas. She is a member of many admission professional associations and founder of the Minnesota Association of Counselors of Color (MnACC) organization.
