Financial Aid Information Event

November 17 , 2006 -

ROSEMOUNT, Minn. - High school seniors and juniors, their parents and adults planning on attending any college or university are invited to a financial aid information event planned for 7 p.m., December 7, 2006, at DCTC.

This free presentation will provide a basic understanding of what financial aid is and how the financial aid process works including tips on completing the financial aid application form and searching for scholarships. There will be a question and answer session at the end of the presentation. This opportunity to have financial aid demystified is one a future college student and his or her parent(s) won't want to miss.

High school seniors will have the opportunity to enter a $250 scholarship drawing from the Minnesota Association of Financial Aid Administrators (MAFAA) and financial aid materials will be available for pick up.
