Administrative Assistant Student Awarded IAAP Scholarship

ROSEMOUNT, Minn. - DCTC Administrative Assistant student LaDonna Young has received the $500 student scholarship sponsored by the Minnesota-North Dakota-South Dakota Division of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP).
The scholarship is awarded to a nominated student who demonstrates strong scholastic ability and a financial need. DCTC faculty selected Young as their nominee due to her diligence, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
Young enrolled in the Administrative Assistant diploma program in the spring 2007 semester. In addition to focusing on her studies, she has been active with Da CulTure Club on campus.
Young was presented with the scholarship at the IAAP Annual Meeting held May 22 at Old Chicago in Apple Valley.
