Student Services Metamorphosis

Welcome to your new point of entry

The craftsmen from our Operations department have put away their tools. Staff members are back at their desks. And DCTC Student Services is looking sharp and ready to roll after a full-out renovation.

"Our new look and setup make Student Services much more open and welcoming," said Pat Lair, director of admissions. "Now that our financial aid staff are located with admissions as well as records and registration, we really are a one-stop shop for students."

Current and future students can meet with academic and admissions advisors in Student Services. They can also get parking permits, student IDs, transcripts and answers to general questions about the college.

"Green materials in significant quantities were used in the project, which meshes perfectly with the college's Green Campus Commitment," Lair said. "The renovation is an excellent prelude to DCTC's 40th Anniversary, which happens in 2010."
