Supporting Queer and Trans Students on Campus

Attend this workshop to learn about some of the barriers queer and trans students experience, develop strategies, learn tips on how to be more supportive to our queer and trans college community, and hear about some things you can do to make your campus more welcoming.
Presented by Melinda LeeMelinda (they/them) is the Assistant Director of the Gender and Sexuality Center for Queer and Trans Life at the University of Minnesota- (UMN) Twin Cities. Melinda received their Master of Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota School of Social Work- Twin Cities, and Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Worcester State University. Melinda is a queer, non-binary, first generation South/East Asian person born and raised in Long Beach, CA. .
