Due to the commitments of life, you may need to get a quality education and earn a degree as quickly as possible. With DCTC's accelerated FastTrack options, you can:
- Concentrate on 2-3 classes at a time and still finish within two years*
- Add classes one summer to complete some degrees in just 18 months

The accelerated track is an intense rigor for some. Talk with your Academic Advisor about which track is right for you to set yourself up for success. You may also choose to attend part-time at your own pace if that works better for you.
OPTION 1:
ACCELERATED PROGRAM – TYPICAL STUDENT:
- All ages
- Little or no college experience
- Not a long work history
- Working full or part time
- Have family commitments
- Cannot attend multiple days per week, or during traditional hours
- Need flexibility
- Looking for a program they can complete quickly
- Looking to transfer to a four year
- Keeping cost low, need to stick to a budget
- In career transition
- Veteran or Active Military
- Took AP courses in High School but did not receive credit for class
OPTION 2:
ACCELERATED WITH CREDIT FOR PRIOR LEARNING (CPL) AND/OR TRANSFER CREDIT TYPICAL STUDENT:
- Typically 25 or older
- May or may not have college experience
- In a career transition
- Have family commitments
- Need flexibility, cannot attend multiple days per week, or during traditional hours
- Consistent work history and/or volunteer experience
- Veteran or Active Military
- May have transfer credits from another institution
- Could have opportunity to earn credits from prior learning experience
- In career transition
- May already have a degree but want to build on previous education experience
- Returning back after an educational break
* During Fall and Spring, business classes are scheduled for half the semester. An example schedule may look like this:
