Help your students get ahead by delivering college-level courses in your classroom.
High school teachers deliver College Start courses to students in their high school classroom. Teachers work closely with a college mentor from DCTC and Inver Hills Community College to ensure that the course meets the on campus requirements and reflects the rigor of the college course.
Professional development opportunities are provided for high school teachers to keep updated on college course content, policies and procedures, and to participate in the intellectual and collegial community of the college.
High school teachers who wish to teach a Concurrent Enrollment class must demonstrate that they meet credentialing requirements identified by Minnesota State.
Submit a resume and unofficial transcripts for an initial review to:
Inver Hills Community College
Attn: Concurrent Enrollment Program
2500 E. 80th Street
Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076
If a high school teacher is determined to be credential eligible, they will be asked to submit official transcripts and a resume or professional curriculum vita. Submissions can be directed to the address above. Credential acceptance or denial letters will be sent to the high school teacher and building level administrators.
