Andrew Burns has nearly a decade of experience in the beer industry, beginning with the homebrewing industry, before moving up to commercial brewing at the small scale (Chapel Brewing) and the large scale (Pryes Brewing Company). Burns brought this experience, and knowledge of industry best practices, to DCTC in 2022 as the Brewing and Beer Steward Instructor.
While not teaching, Burns is a full-time Dad to his daughter (and dog Baxter), and enjoys baseball, disc golf, and board games. He lives with his wife and family in South Minneapolis.
