Angie began teaching at DCTC in the fall of 2021. She currently works for the City of Saint Paul as their Fire Safety Manager. She is a Minnesota licensed Fire Protection Engineer and a Minnesota Certified Building Official. She also currently serves as the President of the Fire Marshals Association of Minnesota and is on the International Code Council Board of Directors. Angie has participated on numerous education committees for various conferences and taught several seminars generally focused on either fire safety, leadership, or customer service.
Angie has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from Purdue University in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in Public Administration from Hamline University.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family (immediate and extended), camping, running, biking, reading, and doing puzzles in the winter. She enjoys traveling and spending time in Costa Rica. It's like a second home to her.
