Bruce Hartung is an instructor for the Welding Technology program. He began teaching at DCTC in 2012 after more than 24 years in the welding field. Bruce studied at Red Wing Technical College and the University of Wisc. Eau Claire. He has also studied visual management and process improvement through Six Sigma and 5S Improvements.
He has traveled throughout the U.S. and the world installing and welding food and pharmaceutical process equipment. Bruce also has many years of experience designing and fabricating dirt track race cars.
His favorite thing about being an instructor is passing on all of his experiences to the next generation of welders.
In his spare time, Bruce enjoys dirt track racing, hunting and fishing, and, of course, the Packers!
