Rick Motz is an instructor for the GM Automotive Service Educational Program (ASEP). Rick started teaching at DCTC in 2021. He is a former graduate of the GM ASEP program at DCTC and holds an A.A.S degree in Automotive Service.
Rick has over 20 years of industry experience. His experience includes 17 years as a dealer technician, a year as an independent technician and 3 years as a service manager. He is well versed in the industry and has spent time with Saturn, Volkswagen, Chevrolet, Ford and Chrysler over the years.
Rick is an ASE Master Certified Automotive Technician and holds ASE advanced level certifications in engine performance and hybrid/electric vehicle. Rick is a General Motors Master Technician and is hybrid/electric vehicle certified through GM as well.
His hobbies and interests include motorcycling, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with family.
