The Minnesota State system is working to make the transfer process easier. Students can help if they plan ahead, ask questions and use pathways created by transfer agreements. Start looking into your next learning journey after DCTC with the Career and Transfer Resource Center by contacting careerservices@dctc.edu.
Click into our Transfer Checklist and Worksheet to learn the process on how students/alumni are preparing for next steps in transferring to a college/university after completing DCTC program(s). The Transfer Action Plan, from our Minnesota State Colleges & Universities site, explains what you need to know when transferring and help you understand the transfer process in general.
This Fall of 2020, we had a recording of a Career Leadership Academy Certificate topic on, "How to Get Ready for Transfer" with 6 universities. Learn about their institutions from Transfer Admissions representatives of: Bemidji State University, Concordia University-Saint Paul, Minnesota State University-Moorhead, Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, University of Wisconsin-Stout, and Winona State University. We hope you check out the Leadership Academy's Calendar of activities on the next tab on this website to attend "live" such training programs and ways to connect with employers.
Whether you're a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces or an international student or transferring from high school or a four-year university, DCTC will help you through the process. Visit our Transfer to DCTC page for more information.
