To register, fill out the Senior Citizen Registration Form and email to registration@dctc.edu or mail to Registration, 1300 145th Street East, Rosemount, MN 55068.
* Tuition waiver applies to senior citizens auditing credit-based classes only. Seniors are still responsible for paying all course-associated fees and tools/equipment.
If there is space available in a course on the 2nd day of the semester, seniors can register and pay only $20 tuition per credit in administration fees. Seniors do pay student fees, minus the Student Life and all course-associated fees, as well as textbooks and tools/equipment. Senior registrations are taken starting the second day of each semester if space is available. See current fees here.
If a senior wants to “audit” a course – which means attending but not taking tests, being graded or earning college credit – there is no administration fee. Auditing students will be charged for parking, health, and course fees. See current fees here.
Students auditing a class must still attend and participate as required by the instructor. If you want to audit, fill out the Alternative Grading Form and send to registration@dctc.edu. An email from the instructor can be used to signify their approval.
Senior Citizens are also responsible for any additional materials or textbooks for courses.
