Dakota County Technical College is partnering with District 196 and District 194 High Schools as well as local businesses to provide a summer credit recovery and a career and college exploration experience. This technical education pathway collaboration aims to provide students with an opportunity to successfully complete their required high school coursework and look to post-secondary options in high-demand industries.
Join us at Dakota County Technical College this summer for an English credit recovery and career exploration experience in high-demand and high-paying fields.
Spend 2.5 hours each day learning the English skills you need to earn your high school credit and be ready for your senior year. Content from the career exploration course will be woven into your English lessons.
Spend 2-3 hands-on sessions each week in career pathways learning about job skills needed, career outlook, pathways for success, salary potential, and much more! Possible pathways are:
