    Students will design and produce advanced page layouts using Adobe In Design to further develop skills combining type and images together. Emphasis will be placed on advanced publishing techniques to create complex quality projects for print, interactive publishing and portfolio presentation.

    1. Color: Understand and use proper color modes and create colorized images
    2. Document Management: Manage links, use Adobe Bridge, use lnCopy, work with layers, create and use libraries, prepare files for multiple use, and apply slugs
    3. Document: Use rulers, guides and grids, create single page documents, create multipage documents, and create multiple up documents
    4. Output: Preflight documents, print documents with proper settings, and create and manage PDF files
    5. Text & graphics: Work with editing tools, place & format text, create and use style sheets, create and use master pages, use keyboard shortcuts, apply textbox links, use text wrap, apply clipping paths, apply cropping and sizing, apply tabs, create tables, apply special characters, create interactive documents, apply bleeds, and use graphic tools
