Dakota County Technical College offers two resources for food support on campus: The Lunch Box and the Mobile Food Pantry. Any student in need of food support can utilize the Lunch Box three times per week and the Mobile Pantry once per month.
The Lunch Box is temporarily suspended while the Student Life Center is closed. Visit the campus Food Pantry in 2-303 for food items.
The Student Life Center provides basic meals to help support students in need of food support. If you are aware of a student who is unable to afford food, please encourage them to visit the Student Life Center and ask about the Lunch Box. Students can utilize the Lunch Box three times per week and pick three items each visit. Visits are confidential. Meal items may include the following:
If you would like to contribute to the Lunch Box, we welcome donations of non- perishable, single-serve meal items and plastic forks and spoons.

Mobile Pantry visits to campus are suspended until further notice. Alternatively, The Open Door has available appointments to receive food at their Eagan Pantry! View more information about food pick-up in Eagan. The Open Door is also providing supplies for a campus food pantry, located in 2-303.
Dakota County Technical College has partnered with The Open Door, formerly the Eagan & Lakeville Resource Center, to bring the Mobile Pantry to campus. The Mobile Pantry is free for any DCTC student in need of food support. It has no income requirements or residency restrictions. For more information, students can email mobile.pantry@dctc.edu or visit the Center for Student Success, Enrollment Services or see an academic advisor. At each visit, students will receive an average of 2 ½ weeks' worth of food which is 70% perishable and wholesome, including the following:
