Colleen Moser has been working as DCTC's Curriculum Director since 2019. Her work experience has prepared her well for this role as she was DCTC's DARS Encoder and General Education Transfer Coordinator from 2003-2019. She also gained valuable experience while at Inver Hills Community College from 1994-2002 where she served in various roles within Student Affairs: Admissions Representative, Director of Applicant and High School Relations, Registrar and Counselor.
As Curriculum Director, Colleen works with the faculty and deans to facilitate the process of updating existing curriculum for programs and courses. Colleen enjoys working at Dakota County Technical College because she believes strongly in the college's mission statement — "Education for Employment" — and in being part of a process that changes students' lives for the better.
Colleen has a BA degree in communications from UW Wisconsin - Madison and a Master of Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary's University. She enjoys spending time with her grown children, Ellie and Ethan, trying to improve her golf game, taking her dog, Lucy, on long walks and bike riding with her husband, Scot, throughout the Twin Cities.
