Shane Miller is the Procurement Assistant for the Academic Affairs Department since June 2022. Responsible for assisting staff and faculty with purchasing supplies and navigating the contracts process, he enjoys making sure that all programs have what they need to provide students with a successful and engaging education.
Shane graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Social Science and a minor in Applied Peace Studies. He later obtained his Masters in Public Administration from Northern Illinois University in 2021. While pursuing his Masters in Illinois, Shane worked for Northern Illinois University as an Office Support Specialist for the Physics Department. He then interned at the Village of Hoffman Estates in their Development Services Department. Returning to Minnesota in the summer of 2021, Shane moved to Minneapolis.
In his free time, Shane enjoys reading, video games, and exploring cafes around the Twin Cities. You will be hard pressed to see him around the office without a cup of coffee!
